My 2nd day of summer holiday, thought of joining something beneficial yet fun.
We joined Stroke Association charity walk at Swansea ; along the Gower Peninsular.
Beriadah sambil beramal orang cakap ;)
Registration
3 ladies ready to step out!
Apparently, we're the youngest in the group who joined this walk. Some of the senior citizens are stroke sufferer. Yet, they were so strong to join the 1.8km walk, which is really a big challenge for them, compared to younger people like us.
The elderly :')
Our postgrade senior who spread the words about this event
3 young ladies :p
Short briefing before we start
See? Can't resist seeing these grey haired people smiling happily as they started the walk.
So cute.
Beautiful summer weather!
Young Lad donating for the association

A break at The Ripples
Aww, can you imagine your grandmas and grandpas eating ice cream? So cute.
We really enjoyed the walk and chatted with the elderly. While we were sitting and eating ice cream at the ripples, there's one old man who suffered stroke, stand up from his wheelchair and walked towards us slowly one step at a time, just to greet and express his gratitude to us for joining the walk. TOUCHED! In our hearts only Allah knew. Even he's not that strong to walk step by step, his willingness made our heart cried. :')
Lovely people indeed, one thing that I will miss when I'm leaving here :')
Last but not least ;
We grew up together, and in the future let's grow old together ♥
So people, do join such events and together we help each other.
May Allah bless our deeds. ;)
